Graduation Location

Graduation is typically held at Austin Community College Riverside Campus' Building G Lecture Hall. Commencement is generally scheduled to begin at 11 am with a luncheon to follow. Family and friends are encouraged to attend to show their support of their graduate. Limited visitor parking is available; additional parking is available on the street. Ronald Smith evacuated from Hurricane Katrina and arrived in Austin with only $40. He came to Skillpoint Alliance where we helped him obtain skills in construction through our adult workforce program, Construction Gateway. He then found employment with Zachry Construction in Austin. “Hope was a main element and this program, Construction Gateway, enhanced it and gave me the opportunity to expand my skills,” Smith said. “The people of Austin have been very generous to me.
