Skillpoint Alliance's Adult Workforce councils Join Forces

Skillpoint Alliance's two longest running programs, Gateway and Community Technology Training Centers (CTTC), are combining their councils this summer to form the Adult Workforce Executive C. This fusion will create a diverse group of industry and community leaders that can work with our Adult Workforce programs, while expanding networking and leadership opportunities for their members.

The AWEC will focus on:

• Employer perspective on needed skills for entry-level jobs
• Advisement on curriculum & program delivery
• Adult Workforce Program graduates as source of employees for industry
• Training resources – tours, speaking, instructors, graduations
• Networking within AWEC & bringing additional industry leaders closer to Gateway programs
• Diversifying funding
