Skillpoint Alliance Wins Award at Workforce Solutions - Capital Area's Tournament of ChampionsOn Thursday, October 20th, 2011, Workforce Solutions - Capital Area held its 3rd annual Tournament of Champions luncheon at the Austin Country Club. The event is held each year to, "Recognize Austin/Travis County employers, individuals, and community organizations that make the workforce system...work." Skillpoint Alliance won one of two awards for Innovative Solutions in Workforce Development. (Seton Healthcare Family was the other winner.) Skillpoint Alliance Alliance was recognized for its Adult Workforce Programs, specifically the Gateway programs.
