These industry-led trainings allow teachers to explore and collaborate, and participants leave with resources that will help them engage and excite their students. Counselor Industry VisitsCounselor Industry Visits offer middle and high school counselors and directors of career and technology education an opportunity to meet with local business leaders about career opportunities for currently enrolled Central Texas students. Visiting corporate sites, participants talk with human resource personnel to learn which skills and knowledge are required for students to become qualified for particular occupations within a specific industry. College & Career ExpoThe College & Career Expo is an annual event designed to increase awareness of college and career alternatives for high school students. |
