Educators
High school juniors and seniors are invited to explore potential career opportunities that match their strengths. They will have the opportunity to meet with higher education representatives about appropriate coursework and receive information about attending college. In addition:
- Students will receive information that helps them think about and prepare for their future. It also offers them resources and opportunities, especially for low income or first-generation students.
- The College Central area includes a variety of comprehensive information on college readiness, financial aid and higher education opportunities. Sessions include: Going to College, Paying for College and more.
- Resumes are encouraged as a pre-event classroom activity and for interaction with exhibitors.
Exhibitors
Business and industry leaders want to sustain the economic and civic health of Central Texas. Skillpoint Alliance’s 15th Annual College & Career Expo offers a venue to relay expectations for future employees and to serve as career role models by showcasing businesses and services and sparking interest in career options.
