CTTC Orientation - Travis H.S. 07/31/2010 12:00 PM 07/31/2010 03:00 PM To register for this event, please login or create an account. A one-time Orientation is required prior to enrollment in CTTC classes. Orientation takes place two Saturdays each month at either Travis High School (Enter the east entrance of the school across from Denny’s) or Reagan High School (Technology Building next to Performing Arts Building). Orientation takes approximately 3 hours, and includes an overview of the program, time and assistance with our program application and financial aid application, a typing test, and consultation with a CTTC employee to determine your recommended course schedule.  Ronald Smith evacuated from Hurricane Katrina and arrived in Austin with only $40. He came to Skillpoint Alliance where we helped him obtain skills in construction through our adult workforce program, Construction Gateway. He then found employment with Zachry Construction in Austin. “Hope was a main element and this program, Construction Gateway, enhanced it and gave me the opportunity to expand my skills,” Smith said. “The people of Austin have been very generous to me.
