Austin Community College
As one of only 50 community college districts in Texas, Austin Community College provides access to high-quality education at affordable tuition rates. ACC offers university transfer curriculum, technical certificate programs, two-year associate degrees, foundation skills and English as a Second Language courses, and a highly diverse Continuing Education program.
Texas State University at San Marcos and Round Rock
Texas State's 29,105 students choose from 100 bachelor’s, 88 master’s and eight doctoral degree programs offered by the following colleges. Since 2005, Texas State has also offered bachelor’s and graduate-level courses in Round Rock, Texas, at our Round Rock Higher Education Center (RRHEC) campus, located north of Austin. More than 1,500 students are enrolled at the RRHEC.
The University of Texas at Austin
The University of Texas at Austin is a major research university home to more than 50,000 students, 2,900 faculty and 21,000 staff members. UT is a top ten public university and both undergraduate and graduate programs are recipients of numerous awards and rankings, including one of the best values for the money.
St. Edward's University
St. Edward’s University is an independent Catholic university that welcomes qualified students of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs and serves a culturally diverse student body.
Concordia University
Concordia University Texas is a private, coeducational institution of liberal arts and sciences offering undergraduate and graduate degrees. Concordia also offers an Accelerated Degree Program for part-time students and adult returning students.
University of Phoenix
Founded in 1976, University of Phoenix is dedicated to meeting the needs of working students. Now the largest private university in North America, Phoenix offers more than 190 campuses and learning centers as well as a flexible online learning format available in most countries around the world.

Workforce Investment Act
WIA is a no-cost employment program designed to give job seekers the support and/or skills training they need to find a job. Specifically, WIA can provide:
- Job search assistance
- Child care assistance while in training
- Transportation assistance
- Interview clothing and uniforms
- Tools needed for your new job
- Funding for basic skills and occupational training

Everest Institute, Austin Campus
Everest offers flexible programs to fit your life. Their schools offer classes in accounting, business administration, criminal justice, dental assisting, medical assisting, massage therapy and much more.
Culinary Academy of Austin
CAoA offers several diploma programs, four day school weeks and accepts new classes of students every three months.
DeVry University
DeVry University and DeVry Institute of Technology are private tertiary for-profit schools composed of 23 major campuses, 3 subsidiary institutions, and numerous minor service centres in the United States and Canada. Member campuses offer programs from the Associate's to Master's level in professional studies and business administration. DeVry offers in-person and on-line courses.
